This position is open to all qualified applicants.Avita Community Partners is seeking the right candidate to serve as a full-time Community Living Support (CLS) CNA for I/DD Services. The goal of this position is to support individuals with developmental disabilities to become active and integrated citizens within their communities. This will be accomplished by helping the individual to identify their personal preferences and implementing a plan of support which honors these preferences.
 
Staff in this position will work in cooperation with clients, families, community members, support coordinators, and consultants as identified through the Person-Centered Plans of the Service process.Must be Certified Nursing Assistant within the state of Georgia, hold and minimum of a High School Diploma or General Education Degree, and demonstrate sufficient reading, writing and computer skills so as to be able to perform the duties.
 
Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule of late afternoons, evenings and weekends.
 
Must be 21 years of age with a drivers license valid in the State of Georgia. Motor vehicle insurance as required by Georgia Law, and a good driving record is required. Applicants must not have six (6) or more points against their driver's license or a suspended or revoked driver's license within the last five (5) years.
 
A Pre-Employment Background will be conducted. This includes, but is not limited to, any of the following: Criminal (Both State and Federal Finger Printing), Driving, Educational and Employment record verifications/inquiries. This salary includes a stipend for evening, nights and weekends. This is a full-time position and is subject to organizational benefits. EOE.

Avita Community Partners is excited to announce a Mental Health Counselor opportunity in our Blairsville Outpatient Center. 

Job Description:

  • Provides mental health services to adults, children, and adolescents in an outpatient setting.
  • Individual counseling, diagnostic assessments, group therapy, family counseling, and some contact within the community.
  • Will work in the community/county in locations such as homes, public schools, and courts.

Minimum Qualifications: Unlicensed ($33,000/yr.): A Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Community Counseling, School Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from a CACREP, CSWE, CCPTP or COAMFTE accredited university AND be license eligible with the Georgia Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers and Marriage and Family Therapists allowing for an associate level license within six months of employment. (Upon receipt of Associate licensure, employee is eligible for a 5% increase in pay.)OR Associate Licensed ($35,000) Associate Licensure as an LMSW or LAPC

LMFT/LCSW/LPC - (44,500 to 50,000) Salary is based on length of licensure.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Full Licensure as LMFT, LPC or LCSW

Provides mental health services to Children and Adolescents in the Union County School system during the school year and will perform outpatient services through our county Outpatient center during school breaks. Includes individual counseling, diagnostic assessments, group therapy, family counseling and Individual counseling.
