Job Description
• Provides leadership and managerial oversight for an Assertive Community Treatment Program (ACT) that serves residents of a multi county (Hall and Forsyth Counties) area. Will be responsible for program development, management, contractual and regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of service access, efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. Will be responsible for community outreach and marketing of services, for developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with funding and referral sources and other community partners.

Salary is commensurate with Education, Credential, and Experience - Sign on bonus available!

Requirements
Georgia licensure as a LPC or LCSW.

The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about the ACT model.

Must have valid drivers license and no driver may have 6 or more points against his/her license with in the past five years. No driver may have had a DUI or suspended license within the last five years.

Must be willing to take on-call duties.

Job Description
The Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) will facilitate psychoeducational groups each day and complete daily post discharge follow-up calls to ensure discharged clients have been successfully connected with an aftercare provider and are experiencing no barriers to accessing care. CPS participate in discharge planning and assist clients in linking with clinically appropriate resources for housing, treatment, employment, higher levels of care, etc. CPS will meet with all clients initially and ongoing to orient to services and answer any questions regarding treatment.

Requirements
Must be a certified peer specialist in the state of Georgia. – A CPS is an individual who is trained and certified to provide ongoing support to individuals to individuals and their families receiving mental health and substance use services. Certified Peer Specialists work from the perspective of their lived experience to help build environments of recovery. They promote hope, personal responsibility, empowerment, education, and self-determination in the communities they serve. CPSs are trained to assist others in skill building, problem solving, setting up and maintaining self-help mutual support groups and building self-directed recovery tools. A critical role of the CPS in willingness to self-identify their lived experience, using it as a tool for helping others in developing recovery goals and specific steps to reach those goals.

Job Description: This is a FT, 12 month position. Provides mental health services to Children and Adolescents in the Hall County School system during the school year and will perform outpatient services through our county outpatient center during school breaks. Includes individual counseling, diagnostic assessments, group therapy, family counseling and Individual counseling.

Minimum Qualifications: Unlicensed ($38,000/yr.):A Masters Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Community Counseling, School Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from a CACREP, CSWE, CCPTP or COAMFTE accredited university AND be license eligible with the Georgia Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers and Marriage and Family Therapists allowing for an associate level license within six months of employment (Required).

OR Associate Licensure as an LAPC, LAMFT or LMSW (40,000)

OR Full Licensure as LPC, LMFT or LCSW *Salary is dependent on length of licensure (49,483.20 to 55,000)

Ability to obtain and interpret clinical and medical information to expedite processing referrals
Ability to engage with consumers upon intake, to assist with expectations of and acclamation to the unit and milieu
Ability to establish therapeutic rapport during stay to assist in promotion of warm hand-offs to aftercare providers
Ability to articulate clearly and provide psychotherapeutic education, wellness and medication education groups

    14. Demonstrates commitment to the mission of the agency.
    15. Keeping detailed and concise records of each individual during the course of their treatment utilizing an electronic health records system.
    16. Performs commitment determinations and/or executes orders of involuntary commitments, if appropriately credentialed (LPC or LCSW)
    17. Other duties as assigned.

  Minimum Qualifications:

 Unlicensed  ($38,000) - Holds a master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy or a related filed and can be licensed at the associate level (LAPC, LAMFT, LMSW) within six months of hire. 

Associate Licensure ($40,000) as an LAPC, LAMFT or LMSW

Fully Licensed ($49,500 to 55,000):    Full Licensure as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in the State of Georgia

Job Description
Avita Community Partners is looking for clinicians to work in our Behavioral Health Crisis Center (BHCC), located in Gainesville, Ga. We are seeking fully licensed staff to serve in our BHCC assisting adults experiencing mental health crises and/or in need of detoxification from substances and includes the following: Crisis Walk-In Center: Temporary Observation Unit: A 15 bed facility-based program that provides a physically secure and medically safe environment to further assess, stabilize, and refer clients to the next appropriate level of care. Crisis Stabilization Unit: A 30-bed, short-term crisis residential unit providing treatment to adults experiencing mental health crisis or who are in need of withdrawal management from substances. All departments listed are 24/7.

Job Summary:

Crisis Walk-In Center/Temporary Observation Unit: Clinical staff complete assessments on individuals walking into the center in crisis and based on those assessments arrange for follow-up care or admission to Temporary Observation, Crisis Stabilization and hospitals. Clinicians may also assist with assessment, treatment planning, and safety planning of adults on the Temporary Observation Unit.

Day and Evening Shifts currently available. 

 Requirements - Licensed as a LPC or LCSW in Georgia. 

 Avita will also consider those with an associate level license (LMSW, LAPC, LAMFT).  The rate for an associate license is $25.00 per hour, + shift differentials and benefits.
